"Just got back from a two night break ( Friday and Saturday) at the Hopton hotel. The room was a basic double but was clean and tidy with en-suite (room 11). The hotel is in a great location being very close to central pier and about a 20 minute walk to the tower. The bar prices are very reasonable. The staff are very attentive, hard working and the breakfast is top notch. Parking is very limited it costs £5:00/night. Pre booking is available before your stay by phoning the hotel direct. Our only issue for us was the Saturday night karaoke It Was Still Going On Until Half Past Midnight, so don’t expect to get to sleep before then😩."

"For the price we paid it was a good room. It’s a very small double room but has everything you need, bring a hairdryer as there isn’t one in the room you have to ask at reception. They supplied a fan in the room and this was needed as, despite having the window open, the room gets hot really quickly."

"Clean and comfortable. We had a small double room ample for us (mother and son). Breakfast was a little late for us at 9-10am, but staff were very obliging when we explained we had a booking and opened at 8.30am for us. We only had one negative, my son and his friend would have liked to have played pool, and my friend and I wouldve had a drink in the bar, but the room appeared to be permanently looked."
