「This is a great place to get away. The hosts are amazing! Great shops within 20min and a beautiful property. If going far, take a taxi to the train station, taxis are very expensive.」

「Very clearly student accommodation, but it was clean, spacious, comfortable and we appreciated the extra touches that had been added for a bit of luxury - eg a great coffee maker plus pods; cushions and throws. The one downside is that it is quite a distance from the centre (a good 20-min walk) and not near tram lines. Buses into town stop right outside the campus though so with a leap card (available from spar, near bus stop) this might not be a problem. Really good budget accommodation if...

「Communication was very frustrating as despite messaging via Hotels.com (once it had been booked - 3 months before our stay)and then later by a bit of detective work emailing directly. This was just to get details i.e. postcode, info re local places to eat etc, the first communication was at 5.45pm on the day of check in i.e. after the check in time of 2pm. 「A little bit showing it’s age and therefor shabby. Bits of wood falling off in the kitchen, sofa springs at the end of their life, fuse box buzzing annoyingly, water pressure low. But then there were things that were just poor. Poor design, thoughtless. Like TVs that are rediculously high on the wall, mirrors that are too low, shower doors so big so that its a pain to get in and out of the bath, blackout curtains that don’t actually blackout because they have been mounted poorly and let in...
