「Perfect facilities for a Cotswolds and Oxford stay」

「The staff were friendly and the rooms clean. We had a triple room which was two single beds and a futon. The futon was so uncomfortable with two metal bars across it. Breakfast was not included in the room so you had to pick off a menu and pay for each item separately so was expensive. Also no alternative to sourdough bread which was very hard. Overall the stay was OK but I would not return. 」

「I liked our room and the drinks were reasonable, breakfast was excellent and worth the little wait as the hotel seemed full but it was All cooked fresh to order, my eggs were perfect too! And the bacon crispy as I asked. Coffee filtered with warm milk was good and refills were plentiful.. All in all really good value family run kind of hotel」

「Good location. The room is small and smelly. The shower corner is very small, not able to move when going inside.」

「We enjoyed our stay overall, there’s a decent pub 2 mins away. Some basic items missing, garden furniture needs renovation, the upper stairs are precarious, use caution, one of our guests had a nasty fall. 」

「Upon arrival we were given a room beside the elevator and main door to the floor. The room smelled and the door from the elevator area would bang every time someone came through. We asked for another room and the less than pleasant staff member did give us a new room which we were appreciative of until we walked in. The overpowering smell of chemical cleaner was intense.
