「Very impressed with this hotel. Our room was clean, with a separate little area with two bunk beds, two TV’s and a PlayStation for children. I was happy to see Yorkshire tea and proper milk in the room and the breakfast was good with plenty of choice and nice full English. Friendly staff and a nice bar. Right next to the rollercoaster and pleasure beach. I’d recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.」

「My room was next to the cleaners storage room. I arrived on a late flight at 2am. Due to this, I paid for later check out £20 for two hours), so I could rest after my late arrival. I was woken by noise in the corridor at 4.30am, with loud talking and banging. This continued for 30 minutes, then I left my room to see what was happening. In the corridor I became aware that it was staff talking on loading up their trollies for room cleaning. One lady stared at me with a bemused expression. I asked...

「Super host and great variety at breakfast. Felt very looked after and welcomed. Room clean with adequate shower and plenty of lovely little extras. Only negative was the pillow was a little lumpy and duvet a little heavy, had a very hot night even with the fan in the room. Couldn't open window because of noise from the seagulls! That said I would recommend a stay here. Lot better than other b&bs I've tried in Blackpool and very central.」

「The Henson Hotel is situated at end of Pleasure Beach in South Pier area of Blackpool. I haven't been to Blackpool for a long time and it was sad to see many of the hotels and businesses along the sea front now closed. Henson Hotel is an older property in need of a bit of TLC.
