The front steps are in very poor repair. One of us nearly went thru one of the steps. My son didn't trust them and walked down the neighbours yard. Many light bulbs missing, doors hard to lock with front door only lockable with the deadbolt. The name seaview was nowhere to be seen as the sign clearly said'quarterdeck'. Tried to contact gail but never got a reply.

Excellent location for the Bay of Fires beaches. Apartment is roomy and comfortable, but needs some maintenance - the upstairs toilet doesn't lock, the upstairs sliding doors don't close completely; flyscreens on several windows have some tears in them - I got quite badly mosquito-bitten one night. On the plus side - it has a dishwasher.

Tassie trip

Great apartment opposite beach. Overall very comfortable and spacious. Quiet. Chocolates on arrival. Good beds. Con - washing machine was out of order. I had particularly booked this apartment as it had washing machine/dryer facilities available.

Seaview apartment was spacious, stylish, comfortable, well appointed and nice and close to the beach. If staying in Binalong Bay be aware there are no shops in the area (only one restaurant) so stock up in St Helens before you get there (10 min drive away). Basic pantry items are provided. Also the water is from tanks and as such untreated, with a boil before use alert so buy bottled water if in doubt. If you have very young children be aware that the living area is upstairs and bedrooms downstairs but no child safety gate at the stairs. This wasn't a concern for us. One of the ceiling downlights in the dining area was hanging down broken when we were there and the bottom hinge on the third bedroom door (the single bed/trundle room) was broken also when we arrived but this didn't detract from our stay. BBQ worked well.
