A beautifully located and thoughtfully designed property with a warm and welcoming atmosphere - especially from Brendan and Gillian, who were both loads of fun and full of insights into the local area. Highly recommended!

Ski slopes were easy to get to. Amenities on this property were good. There were a lot of Asian Lady Beetles found in the room that was concerning, but overall the place okay. Would have liked more space, especially an area to place muddy shoes. Some of the amenities we had to ask for someone to start the fire, or it just stayed off. No reception on the property other than WiFi.

This property is a very nice and modern take on the Catskills. Very nice for a cozy getaway, while the hotel does not have a ton of amenities they are open to you 24/7 which was a nice bonus.

Overall my husband and I definitely enjoyed our stay and would recommend. Our room was beautiful, we were in an upper valley king room. It wasn’t totally clear when we booked but these are basically on the second floor of a motel style building. I loved the huge window that was aligned with the bed; this meant you could lay in bed and still enjoy the views. We also loved the saunas and enjoyed the pool, which actually did feel heated! Also, free S'mores was a great touch. Things that could be better: breakfast basket- this was definitely overpriced for what it is. We did it one morning and then the next morning we just went to Phoenicia diner which was similar in price except you got two full entrees. Another thing is they could definitely add more pool chairs by the pool; they had 8 and they were all full the day we arrived until around 5pm. They definitely have room for more so that was a missed opportunity considering the number of rooms they have. Lastly, I think they should be more forthcoming about the presence of bears. We know there are bears in the Catskills but we’re not from the area and I asked one night by the fire if they ever had bears come through the grounds and they said nope, only ever the parking lot. Well sure enough that night at 11pm there was a bear wreaking havoc outside of the room beneath us. We were thankful we hadn’t still been by the fire pit when it came.

This place was just a one day layover for me. When I got here I regretted that I didn’t have more time to spend. This place is beautiful and peaceful and the accommodation are prime. I especially recommend the Bar and restaurant Daphodile and the amazing bartender and waitress Natasha.

This place is truly magical. Nothing like it close by. Service is outstanding. I stayed in a king room with a loft. The daily fire pits are such a nice touch. They are building a pool. I just hope they expand restaurant hours to include lunch, so I never have to leave the property!

Perfect

Absolutely wonderful property! Alison warmly welcomed us and guided us throughout. Scandinavian design with Mid Century Vintage furnishings. This room features a private entrance, vintage desk and large window nook. We enjoyed the views of the beautiful grounds while seated on your private lounge chairs outside of our room. The onsite Dandelion restaurant had amazing vibe and equally amazing food and drinks. Breakfast was a lovely basket that we enjoyed in our patio. Large, clean bathrooms. Close to hiking trails. Wish we could have stayed longer!

The room was not cleaned properly, found chunks of hair on the floor upon walking in. TERRIBLE, considering they are charging an arm and a leg for a remote property such as. We also checked in very late and did not have time to enjoy the property itself. Contacted the management about our dissatisfaction but no resolution was offered. Would love to visit this property again but staff and service is unfortunately questionable at this point…

Staff was great. My 3 star rating is only because there were no sign ups left when arriving for the 3PM check-in. Without this, for the sauna or infrared room; it leaves you to be "stealing time" where you can..(also feels a bit absurd for the rate you pay.) I had to scramble out of one solo sauna after first finding it empty, because a couple had booked it, and they told me they were also booked for the infrared (double dipping also leaves others without.) Feels unfair for another guest to contend with this. I used the "unscheduled" sauna by the pool, as suggested, which was pretty much always either in use, or had to be shared, ( in concept this is fine for me--but again, would have been nice if I had an opportunity to book my own time, to actually get that.) Food was fantastic. Kitchen has it going on. Although there was no coffee left after my sauna at 9:30AM, I asked & they very nicely got me a cup:) Pool is essential. There's also a hole in the floor of the cabin where the ac duct has to go out, but has an ill fit; I would suggest to property to consider customizing a small plug/screen/something around the duct there (so critters can't just climb in) and it would be a nice detail touch.. I will solve most of this next time by getting a bigger room & arriving earlier. I just worry that's part of the push (buy bigger, spend more.) Loved the meditation hut & apart from these details, had a very lovely time overall, thank you!

Very nice place to stay. Staff very friendly and welcoming . Lovely breakfast baskets available (additional charge). Only improvement would be cleaning of room . We got a message while out asking if we would like the room cleaned that day with a circa 3 hour window that cleaners were available . We asked for it to be and unfortunately it wasn’t when we returned. Put it down to message system delays but think better system needed than this. Definately worth visiting though .
