「Wonderful and imaginative breakfast menu with many options. Lovely setting on a hillside overlooking the valley and just a few minutes from the sand dunes and beaches of the estuary.
Very warm welcome from our hosts and can thoroughly recommend to others.」

「Stephen was a wonderful host showing us our room on arrival and explaining arrangements there.
Room 3 was extremely well appointed with our own entrance and outdoor space. The small kitchen area included a microwave great for a cosy meal in. The continental breakfast was amazing and really set you up for the day.
Set in quiet countryside outside Bideford with easy access to local attractions and exploring the countryside.
A really relaxing break for us and would definitely recommend staying...

「All of the staff are so friendly and welcoming. This is the third time we have stayed at the , " Duke of York". The rooms are always clean and well supplied and wonderfully quirky. The food is exquisite, good suppliers and a talented chef make any meal you order an absolute delight. The choice of beers and ciders definately hit the spot and are excellently kept. We will, without question, be looking to return for more stays regardless of the season because any time of year is great here.」
