Hotel was adequate. Room and bathroom clean and tidy. Toilet had permanent leak which despite requests wasn’t repaired. Had to move rooms which was pain in the arse. No offer of a reduction for inconvenience. Breakfast was basic but adequate. Loved the waffle maker.

I was told I would get a microwave. You can have one on request, I even chatted with someone before going. I go they tell me I can’t have one. I showed them where it says on request. He calls his boss to see if I can have a spare one. Once I’m in my room thinking I’m getting one they call me to tell me it “doesn’t work.” So I never got one. And when I first checked in, my room wasn’t ready so I had to wait at least 20 -30 minutes.

Right off highway, good place for a weekend stay. Very quiet and kept fresh. Breakfast in morning is A1 for a free breakfast. Would stay again.

The hotel was located next door to a large Target store if you need anything. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the staff were very attentive.

Not worth the $
Rooms need updates cracked walls, stained curtains. Patched walls, refrigerator didn’t work. Breakfast had slim selection.

The rooms and property were in excellent shape. BUT: I asked for a quiet room and the clerk just said: I assign rooms as they appear on my system. I ended up with a room on the RT84 side of the hotel. I didn’t get much sleep due to the highway noise. If you stay there ask for a room in the backside.

People don’t listen
Everything was fine except for the TV. Some buttons on the remote were not working, so I asked for a new remote. The desk person changed the battery (which I told him wasn’t the problem) and the remote still didn’t work. He then gave me 2 other remotes and the same buttons weren’t working. I went back down and told him the TV was the problem, not the remote. He told me he would have the TV replaced first thing in the morning, as this was about 8PM. The next morning the maintenance man came up with a remote to swap out. I explained the whole story to him and told him the TV needed to be replaced and he insisted it was the remote. He left the room and I told mim emphatically “don’t bring another remote!” He came back in 10 minutes with 2 remotes! After 5 more minutes, he told me he needs to replace the TV. REALLY? He then replaced the TV and everything was fine. It only took 5 trips downstairs (the phone in the room didn’t work) and 16 hours to fix the problem, which could have been done in the first 15 minutes.

Checked into room 108. Requested a king bed and it was a queen at best, maybe a double instead. Bathtub had a hugh hole in the side that was very poorly PARTIALLY patched. The sink in the living area was also cracked in at least 2 places and again very poorly patched. Stayed here a few times but won't be again. Two strikes this trip.

We checked into room 307, went to dinner. When we returned key card didn't work. Went to lobby and he fixed it. When I went back to 307 someone else was there with my wife. Room was assigned to someone else while we were gone, reason the key didn't work. Wentto desk and he straightened it out. Someone else comes to 307 with Pizza and beer ad was confused that we were there. Not Happy!

We were shocked. This was the nicest motel we've stayed at for a very long time. Surgically clean, great breakfast, and a staff that wore Best Western shirts and were as friendly as could be. We were sad we were only staying overnight. If you are in the Danbury area, stop in, you will be amazed.

We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights and the room was never cleaned. We never got clean towels, the sheets changed or had the garbage picked up. When I requested another nights stay and asked for the room to be cleaned, I was told it would be done. It never was. Our key cards had to be renewed daily, they never worked. I am a handicapped person and I had to keep going up and down floors to get a card that would work. Also, I complained about non handicapped people using the parking spots behind the hotel (the same person used it almost every night we were there) but nothing was done. I will never go back to this hotel.

The breakfast was really good, the people that take care of the kitchen/breakfast area were very nice and helpful. The person that checks people in should be retrained. He has no clue what he’s doing, tells you “I have your adjoining rooms ready for check in” then when you arrive tells you that he already gave them away.
