「We staying in the XXL which came with 2 double beds and 1 double sofa bed. The 2 double beds and sofa bed we're separated by a wall and sliding door. The room was a good size and the bathroom clean. The walk in shower was excellent. The air con was good in the main room (sofa bed) but we found the separate room (2 double beds) was quite warm because of the heatwave. The beds were comfy. 「We stayed here for one night and wish we had stayed longer. The staff are so friendly, the breakfast is lovely, the rooms are small but really clean and the beds are some of the most comfortable we have slept in and if you can see my other reviews we are very very fussy! Couldn't rate this little gem highly enough! Thank you so much」

「We didnt eat breakfast here as we ate out. Pleasant, helpful staff on check in. Room was clean. Nice sized room. Aircon worked a bit to start with, but stopped working at night. We had a very sticky night. This was during the recent heatwave, and we booked as they advertised air conditioning. Our son and his girlfriend were next room and they experienced the same. No apologies or refund offered. As you can imagine, we weren't pleased」

「Old building that has been well maintained and kept the original look. We were put in the more modern portion to accommodate 3 of us. Pleasantly surprised with the open air museum and proximity to most WWI sites.」

「Very well placed for visiting Ypres centre. Parking was free and secure. Room was very good all round. We would definitely stay here again. Restaurant and bar are expensive relative to the alternatives in a very short walk of the hotel.」

「Interesting and beautiful hotel set in lovely parkland and gardens. Good food in the brasserie and useful to know that one of the three restaurants is open each day. Plenty of parking and an hour from Calais so an excellent stopover.」
