「Not awful but you just need to be aware of the shortcomings which are not really clear in the listing. Rooms have no windows and thus no natural light or ventilation. Walls are paper thin and the accommodation is part of a diving school so there is loud noise from about 6.00am with people upstairs walking above, doors slamming and people talking loudly in the hall. 「We had a great stay! The hotel was nice and clean, and the indoor pool was a real highlight. Everything felt comfortable and well looked after — exactly what you want from a hotel. Highly recommend!」

「Due to full occupancy in Torquay, we finally reserved 2 rooms at 13th Beach Golf Lodge for 1 night. All facilities in the lodge were new & the environment provided us a leisure moment. Breakfast with tea or black coffee was included but simple. It would be much better if Latte or Flat White could be included as they are not costy items. Food quality was fluctuated. My toast was over-baked. Restaurant staff was limited indeed so patient was required. 」

「Great hotel in the heart of Geelong, but I witnessed one of the staff almost give my bag away to a foreigner. So maybe some more training there needed. And I was told I was on level 10 when I dropped my bag off and they switched it to level 4 when I picked up my keys. Room was still nice though and a great little location near the University, gallery and a few cafes.」
