The real hotel is far different from the pictures! It is located in a very small road extremely hard to find, not reachable by Taxi. The towels in the rooms were so old and worn out. Wi-Fi access is not a self service. No telephone in the room. The hotel staffs were speaking extremely loud, and playing cards on a table next to the check-in desk one day, causing you not able to sleep. I would not recommend this hotel.
The hotel was hidden in a back alley too narrow for the taxi to drive into. The courtyard was nice, but the rooms did not live up to our expectations and we checked out after only one night. The staff didn't speak any English, and would not take credit card but required cash payment. We had rented a family room which had a loft with a double bed, and a "bed" downstairs for the children to sleep on. This was literally a 3 cm thin mattress on top of the table - superhard and really uncomfortable. There was air conditioning, but cool are only came out on the stairs, so upstairs it was very hot (we were there in August and it was 35 degrees outside), downstairs it was moderate - and if you sat ON the stairs it was cool (not very comfortable to sleep sitting there though). We could also hear everything going on outside our door which made it even more difficult to sleep. Possibly better if you go there in a cooler season that August, but I would not recommend this hotel to a family.
When we checked in it was like 9pm and they made us feel right at home they welcomed us with smiles !!! I only had a card with visa on it so they let us pay cash which was wonderful. When slept in the family loft which was amazing it was a good amount of space and it was clean and very traditional which is what we wanted !! When we woke up the next morning it was nice and cool outside ,the courtyard is beautiful in the sun light and they took pictures with us to make memories when I come back to Beijing I will be staying with them again the tea they had at the hotel was good to 😀 Thank you again for a great stay
