This is a beautiful, proper country house - very spacious room, lovely breakfast. It is very quiet here. The log fire was amazing and it was great to spend a quiet evening here away from it all! I would stay again."

"Great value for money. Friendly staff during check in, clean good sized room (we stayed in a small double atic window) tvs had smart tv features like netflix. The bed was very comfy and good toiletries in the en suite. Fantastic location, right on the main street of Cockermouth and free parking at the hotel. Lovely quiet stay. Would definitely stay agon."
