「Well, there are pros and cons for this place. The big pro is it’s literally just right on the beach. Great outdoor chairs, hammocks, loungers and picnic tables. The size of our 2 bedroom rental was good for our family of 5. Good water pressure and lots of hot water. Cons: the unit was very shabby, large cracks in floorboards in main bedroom and in bathroom. Chair in second bedroom outer layer was worn through. Unit was only superficially clean, floors were still dirty, found lots of old hair and...

「Location is nice; in a historic city an hour from Orlando, nice view of the Indian river right across the street. The front facade of the building looks beautiful and new, but the rest of the exterior of the hotel looks old and run down. The reception area also looks old and dingy, but luckily the inside of my room looked very fresh, new, and clean, although some areas of the floor did leave our feet dirty. The complementary shampoo and soap smelled wonderful, and all utilities/features worked...

「It was relaxing and fun! They had live bands for the weekend with restaurants and bar on property that were great! Option of biking, kayaking or paddle boarding for an hour was included with the resort fee along with parking. Not bad at all!」

「Very clean hotel & excellent location. The breakfast area/lobby is too small and can get cramped in a hurry but that is an overall design problem of this entire chain rather than an issue at this particular location. I can recommended it with no reservations.」

There's a little grocery store a short walking distance from the hotel. I was able to get some healthy snacks. I thought that the breakfast was very good. I did rather miss complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby as some hotels have this. For some reason the shower leaked out the door, so we had to sop up water after showers. 「Great location directly on the beach. Nice pool and beach access. Rooms seem recently updated. Beds comfortable. Plenty of towels (beach and bath). Staff was very friendly and responsive. One thing that could improve our stay would be some sort of shower caddy or shelf. There was no spot in the shower for shampoo/soap. Overall a great spot and we would stay again.」
