"Very disappointing stay, especially for the price. The room was not properly set up on arrival—the requested rollaway bed was missing and sheets were only provided after we asked. The portable fan stopped working, the bathroom drained slowly, and the kitchen sink clogged due to an issue that staff told us had already been reported by a previous guest but had not been fixed. Maintenance then had to work on the sink in the evening while our 3-year-old was trying to sleep. We were also disturbed around 3:30 AM by furniture-moving noises. Most concerning, there was renovation work happening near our room, creating dust and noise, but this was not disclosed on the Expedia listing. With a dust allergy, this was particularly problematic. There were simply too many maintenance, cleanliness, and noise issues for a property at this price point. We ultimately did not feel comfortable continuing our stay."

"We had a wonderful stay! The staff at both the hotel and Sea Level Restaurant and Lounge went above and beyond to make our birthday weekend truly special. The restaurant’s attentiveness, and exceptional service made the entire experience feel personal and memorable. Thank you to Davis, the manager! It’s clear that the restaurant team takes great pride in creating an outstanding guest experience, and it truly shows. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!"

"The Sea view Inn is a quaint little gem in Manhattan Beach. The property is super close to the beach, they give you towels, boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas and bikes to take out free of charge. We utilized all of these things and had so much fun. We stayed in the main building which had an ocean view balcony. We don’t use a lot of space, the room was a perfect size for us. Air conditioning worked amazingly, and we definitely needed it. There are a few coffee shops and a cute little market within close proximity, otherwise downtown Manhattan beach is only about a 20 minute walk (or 8min bike ride). Staff were excellent, very friendly and accommodating. If you’re looking for a cute little, beach surfer vibe Inn that’s reasonably priced, I’d highly recommend staying here. Definitely will visit again."
