"The host was responsive and helpful every step of the way. Check in was easy and clear. They even helped arrange transportation from the airport and to the port. That was awesome. The property was close to the Colosseum and there were several dining options near by. They even provided snacks and bottled water for us upon arrival. It was a nice touch. "Was absolutely perfect for a Solo traveller. They offered a brilliant room service where they regularly cleaned the room and stocked water and snacks in the room. Lovely to come back from a long day of walking to a cleaned room. The temperature in the room was perfect - bearing in mind the temperature in Rome averaged 21 degrees when I went. Communication with the owners/receptionist was easy. About a 12 minute walk from the colosseum and all for such a reasonable price. Would recommend to any...

"Our 4 night stay at Palazzo Velabro was wonderful! Our room was spacious and had a large balcony that over looked a garden and faced the Palatine Hill. The location is fantastic as the property is located within pretty close walking distance to several historical sites including Circus Maximus, the Capitoline Hill, the Roman Forum and the Colosseum. We also had no problem walking up to the Pantheon or Baths of Caracalla. The Tiber River is right across the street as is the bridge to Trastavere....

"They were so helpful with keeping us informed of the pre-reserved car pickup from the airport to helping us with our luggage as we departed. The room is quiet, great location within walking distance of the colosseum and many other places. The bed was fine, could have used another pillow or two, but we managed to. I would recommend staying here for sure !"

"There are so many restaurants and coffee shops near by! The best part of the neighborhood is that less than a block away is a market with dozens of food and artisan stalls. You can choose from many cuisines, coffees, and fresh flowers, meat, etc. This location can’t be beat. The hotel is spotless. Everything is clean, the bathroom is modern with great toiletries. The staff is awesome and always helpful. Next time we’re in Rome we’re staying at Bob W."
