This pristine beach is isolated which means no facilities; so everything you take has to come back up over the cliffs.

Access
From the road between Stackpole and Freshwater East. take the turning to Stackpole Quay. Access to the bay is via a 1km path leading from the car park. then a steep cliff path.

Silly boy...always asking why the sky is blue as if it would change the taste of chocolate or Irish stew. Yet, I still need to know...why? Keeps me occupied, I guess, on days when there is nothing to do but wonder...why blue?

Carew Castle

Regarded as one of the most impressive castles in Wales, visitors to Carew Castle can trace the structure’s history from Norman fortifications to when it became an Elizabethan country home owned by Sir John Perrot, possibly an illegitimate son of Henry VIII, before its eventual abandonment in the 17th Century.
