「Absolutely lovely stay at The Lister Arms. Staff are amazing and the reason it's so good. They are helpful and friendly. The only very small downside is the cost. A little overpriced but otherwise beautiful. Couldn't really fault anything at all. The food was to die for.」

「Lovely old building with original 17th century fireplace. Restaurant staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was good. Rooms were clean although basic.」

「Very clean property, great pub with a fantastic breakfast.」

「Restaurant is still good and well maintained but room and all the other areas really need to be renovated.」

「Excellent room and service jumped into a taxi to Skipton Town centre cost only £7 and quickly spent the day in town got taxi back to hotel at 7-15 to have a few drinks before bed BUT the bar shut at 8-pm the lights switched off it kind of took the shine off the day ended up watching movie with a cup of tea sad」

「Although the building could do with a little tlc in places, our room was large, clean and tidy. The breakfast was excellent and bar food really good too. The bar area is fairly small and well used by locals but we did find a table both nights we were there. The biggest plus for us were the staff who are efficient and friendly and we wouldn’t hesitate to return if in the area. It’s in a quiet area but there are plenty of walks and an ideal base for exploring other towns and sites.」

「Beautiful location, very clean, friendly staff, delicious food. We will definitely visit again, thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!」

「Location..it has beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. ( need a car) Rooms are very comfortable, tea /kettle etc. Stairs are a little steep. staff are lovely ,had a very pleasant stay. We arrived Saturday lunch time, they had a party of 40 in, but fitted us in and it was delicious! staff attentive and it arrived quickly so all good, so I am very sad ( and surprised ) to say breakfast was poor ! we didn't opt for the buffet and cooked ,rather just the cooked, it took ages to appear...

「Wat een geweldige plek. Het hotel hoort bij een fantastisch restaurant en de kamers zijn van dezelfde hoge kwaliteit. De omgeving Yorkshire Dales is ook prachtig. Een mekka voor wandelen en fietsen」

「Staff are not friendly !」

「I didn't realise this was on a holiday park so maybe my bad there. I was picturing country pub. Lots of noise outside. Then an alarm went off at 3am for ages. The restaurant food wasn't great for the money... But great breakfast and lovely pool.」

「The room was immaculate, staff were lovely and friendly and so helpful. The food was hot tasty and such good value for money. Will absolutely be back. Thank you for making us so welcome」

「Great staff, friendly and very well informed Room was great, restaurant was excellent, bar was fantastic.」

「The Devonshire Arms hotel is a really lovely place to stay. The room had everything we needed including a fridge and ironing board. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Super breakfast though there was no gluten free cereal available.」
