Room large and kept clean by housekeeping Front desk service lets property down, seems to be complete lack of customer service training. Breakfast not worth taking. Immediate area serves local tastes but too limited for o/s tourists. For transport must rely on Dart App and drivers. A system that appears to work ok like Malaysian Grab.

If it is your first time visiting Brunei, Higher Hotel might be one of the best budget options you could go for. The area is safe, the rooms are clean, and the breakfast is manageable. Morning privacy options (like a simple "Do Not Disturb" sign) and some help with transportation would help put it even higher in the future. As is, it's a fair option located not too far from the hotel and near some shopping areas.

Not accommodating management. Paid 3 nights (Friday to Sunday), I checked in at 1AM on a Saturday and checking out late Monday since my flight was at 7PM. I requested for a late check out at 4PM. Didn't even offer an option for me to pay for the extra time. No consideration whatsoever. My first time to experience a hotel that didn't grant my late check out request even for 1PM. Was made to check out at 12 noon so I stayed at the lobby for 4 hours until I booked a ride to the airport. The bathroom mirror should be lit well and so should the other mirror by the closet. It defeats the purpose if you can't see yourself well putting on your beauty regimen. I had to use my phone light to help. The hotel doesn't have a gym. If you need one, you have to pay to a gym next to the hotel. The Filipino staff were amazing though. The non-Filipinos are simply not happy about their jobs.

When I almost check out in the morning before 9am that day, the staff keep knocking at the door. I shouted I am showering and keep press the door bell also... so I quickly shower finished... However, the two staff just opened the door and bypass to go in... luckily, I latched the door and I just wrapped with a towel only... I just opened and they said I check out? which I still prepare to check out... very bad experience and rude to open bypass, lucky I am a man as my partner not here... what if a lady how? this is a very bad experience!!

The hotel is new and bed was comfy. It is the bathroom accessories that are disappointing. The water pressure is inconsistent and overhead shower accessories didn't perform as what it supposed to. I hope the hotel maintenance team can look into this to enables users have better 3xperience in the future.
