Good hotel for transit. The free shuttle to/from airport was great (need to inform hotel in advanced). Got few restaurants nearby (accept credit card), no problem to find foods. Won't recommend for long stay, as Hotel not so clean.

The Time Hotel was conveniently close to the airport and part of a mall/movie theater, which made inexpensive entertainment and food options a breeze! I was going to get the cheaper room originally, but as I was staying in Brunei for a couple weeks I upgraded to a larger mid-size room, which offered a LOT of space and I was happy for. Unfortunately, the rooms and property needs some renovation. The carpeting was kind of disgusting everywhere, and the halls often had a smell to them. I tried to call for room service one day and called the # over several hours but no one ever answered. I'd also skip the morning buffet as it wasnt really worth it and there were often ants swarming the watermelon plate. With a little investment and love, this could be a fantastic hotel, but as is, I'd use it for its convenience and location moreso than the hotel itself.

Had made arrangements days before arriving to be picked up at Brunei airport. No one showed up and 45mins later took a taxi to the hotel. When asked why no one had been at the airport, front desk woman fidgeted with papers and mumbled and did not give a proper explanation.

Skip this place. Even for $50 a night, the rooms are moldy and the furniture is thread bare. It just feels gross. Plus the “sound proof” rooms apparently do not take into consideration the outside wall and we got to listen to a crew playing with a gas powered leaf blower until 11:30pm then a asphalt packer until after midnight. RIGHT outside the window in the alley.

The property was very dirty, changed rooms 3 times because of dirt and horrible smell. Dirty workers clothes strewn on the dirty carpet in the hallway. Bed sheets gross and stained. Bed smell like old sweat. Left after 30 minutes and 3 room attempts in the middle of the night.

I stayed here once when they first opened. Over the years, the lack of proper maintenanceand caring, the establishment has fallen into despair...ripped and soiled upholstery. And it is too bad. It is disappointing.
