「Lovely quiet and secluded. The area around the lodge is absolutely breathtaking. Breakfast and dinner were lovely as well. We used the lodge as our base for a couple of days of hiking in Connemara and it was perfect! The only issue we had was our room was too hot and we couldn’t find a thermostat to lower the heating, opening windows was not really an option because of insects.」

「The hotel was beautiful - staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Great position with view of Croagh Patrick and Clew Bay. Bedroom spacious with cimplimentary water - had a fridge and safe which was great. Bed comfortable esp the pillows. Appreciated that. Highly recommend. 」

「The staff was very attentive, the rooms were beautiful and the service was impeccable. The food and bar were also excellent. Fantastic hotel. The location is perfect with parking and everything is a short walk.We stayed 6 nights and enjoyed every minute. 」

「Dinner and breakfast menu options were extensive and the food well prepared and presented . Dining room lovely (especially if sitting in the bay window area). Room was quiet, very spacious and the bed very comfortable. Just a short walk into town, which had lots of dining options to suit all budgets. Highly recommended,」
