The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the beach but beware the hotel is situated on quite a steep hill, going down is fine but I can't say the same for going back up. 「The numerous pools onsite we enjoyable and my son,8, enjoyed the kids zone with the water slides. The beds we comfortable, the hotel was relatively quiet at night while sleeping, the room was large with plenty of room for my family of three, the kitchen was well-equiped and close to city center for groceries and restaurants. The area of Olhos de Aqua is a very quaint part of Albufeira which we absolutely loved. We felt very safe here and loved all the little restaurants in the area. We would definitely stay here again. 「Had a really good time there with my family. I actually booked another hotel in Sagres, but with much smaller space and poorer infrastructure. So I cancelled that one, and drove back again to Balaia hotel. Again the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There was also an indoor swimming pool nearby. Hotel staff was nice and helpful. Not to mention that the price is so attractive. Definitely worth it.」
