"We stayed for our birthday weekend and to see the Astros play the Rangers. Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast left a lot to be desired but I feel like they were not prepared for the large amount of people that were staying there for the baseball game. Just a couple of examples were there was no way to cut the bagels to put them in the toaster, they only served eggs that already had cheese in them and the sausages were extremely dried out. Their pool is only a little over 3 ft deep the entire length so it was very warm from the sun and not really refreshing. The gentleman serving drinks at the bar when we got back from the game was very friendly and we felt so bad for him because he definitely should have had some help. Management really needs to take the upcoming events into consideration when scheduling in the future to take better care of it's customers. The employees were doing the best they could but it was just so busy it was hard for them to keep up."

"We had a great stay at Aloft Houston Downtown. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located downtown. Overall, I really enjoyed the property and would stay here again. My only drawback was the parking. I didn’t realize until later that the hotel had sent a message through Expedia explaining that the nearby Fannin Garage offered parking for $30 per day. We ended up paying about $95 total for parking over our two-day stay, when the daily rate would have been about $60 total, a difference of roughly $35. I definitely recommend checking your Expedia messages before arriving so you can plan your parking in advance. Other than the parking confusion, we had a very good experience and enjoyed our stay."

"I will definitely stay here again when I visit Houston. My room was so nice and clean. I was very impressed with the kitchen area that has a regular size refrigerator, along with a stovetop and kitchen appliances. The 1 bedroom suite itself was very spacious. Breakfast was great as well. Staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely 5 stars"

"Beautiful hotel and rooms! Staff were helpful and kind! The only thing was the jetted tub didn’t work and that was the entire reason I booked there and it was a one night stay (11 yr. anniversary) We let them know and stayed another night, they moved up to a room with working jetted tub and compensated us with strawberries and champagne."
