「Excellent staff very friendly ideally situated with just a short walk into the centre」

「Room was cleaned, but there was no staff or other guests at the hotel while we were staying. No bedsheets clean up, no changed towels, no collect trash the bin, no drinking water in the room. It’s more like Air bnb not like the hotel. The good thing was the parking lots in front of the hotel. 」

Man merkt die liebe zum Detail - Tee & Kaffee auf dem Zimmer, Taschentücher und extra Gläser im Bad und eine Flasche Wasser kostenlos. Das Ventilator war perfekt bei dem heißen Wetter und das Bett sehr bequem. Mir hat die Auswahl an Kopfkissen gefallen, da ich immer ein kleines brauche. Frühstück war auch ausgesprochen gut. Unsere Freunde dort meinen das Restaurant ist auch sehr gut, aber dafür hatten wir keine Zeit. Vielen Dank...

「It’s not every night you get to stay in a castle that is 100s of years old, we were treated like a King and Queen. The young waiter from South Africa was great to talk too. Thank you for the hospitality :)」

「It is a beauty but still under development which I'm sure will soon have the Grandure it strives for. The restauration and annex buildings are being completed with a good eye for quality and detail. We really enjoyed our stay, the outdoor pool area and the terras restaurant. Obviously there were computers hick-ups and small mistakes with only being partially open since a few weeks but we look forward to return towards the winter whe all should be ready and the staff complete and trained.」

「Enjoyable one night stay」

「Bij aankomst was enige assistentie bij het uitladen van de bagage wel welkom geweest. Inchecken verliep verder prima. Kamer was erg warm bij aankomst. Helaas bleek de airco op de kamer een koelsysteem dat maximaal 3 graden kan koelen. Dit systeem koelt de kamer niet optimaal waardoor de eerste nacht niet comfortabel was. Verder is het hotel voorzien van alle gemakken en het personeel is jong en vriendelijk. Ontbijt is uitgebreid en prima verzorgd.」

「Owner Paul is very accommodating and hands on. Our room for 4 was big. Wished that there were 2 bathrooms. Breakfast was excellent. The only negative was wifi is not strong at all. 」

「Room designed for 1 person (male) only. Whilst the bed was comfy, and there was basic air conditioning, the room was tiny and clearly designed only to house 1 person. The ceiling was so sloped that it was not possible to stand up straight one side of the room. There was only 1 chair, nowhere to unpack our cases and the wardrobe was half height meaning there was nowhere to hang a dress.
