Værelset ligger ikke i den fine bygning

Flot hovedbygning men ikke alle værelser ligger i den fine bygning. Ordinært værelse med skæve gulve i gammel bygning. Ingen AC på værelset. Top god morgenmad og gode parkeringspladser. Det er en meget stille by.

Schönes Wellness-Hotel

Sehr schönes Jugendstil-Hotel mit prima Wellnessbereich. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet, der Service dabei sehr aufmerksam und angenehm. Wir haben nur einen Abend im Hotel gegessen, das war okay, aber eigentlich nicht so besonders. Wahrscheinlich war die Küche wegen Corona nur dünn besetzt.

Urlaubsaufenthalt - positive Erinnerungen

Urlaubsaufenthalt für mehrere Nächte. Wir haben gesamthaft den Aufenthalt genossen. Das Zimmer ist gut ausgestattet und hat einen netten Komfort (wir hatten auch den Vorteil im Hinterhaus zu sein - also ruhige Lage und kurzer Weg zu Restaurant/Bar/etc. Lage sehr gut, direkt an der Mosel, und keine Lärmbelästigung durch Straßenverkehr. Einzig die Parkplatzsituation is limitiert. Mitarbeiter sehr hilfsbereit und nett, sowohl Rezeption als auch im Restaurant. Wir machen auch den Stil der Einrichtungen, sowohl in den öffentlichen Räumen als auch im eigenen Zimmer. Frühstück wird in Bezug COVID-19 gut gehandhabt (ausreichend Distanz der Tische und Limitierung der Anzahl Gäste, ohne dass mal selber eingeschränkt wird). Buffet-Optionen sind manchmal etwas vergriffen (häufigstes waren Säfte und Gläser), werden aber bei Nachfrage schnell nachgefüllt. Die Terrasse ist leider sehr limitiert mit Sitzplätzen, dies war etwas schade, da kaum möglich 'einfach einmal ein Glas Wein zu genießen'. Alles in allem würden wir bei einem Aufenthalt in Traben dieses Hotel wieder nehmen.

Das Hotel wirbt mit seiner Jugendstilromantik direkt an der Mosel und auf den Bildern erscheint es auch sehr authentisch. Vor Ort mussten wird leider erkennen, dass dies nur im Hauptgebäude der Fall ist. Leider wird bei der Buchung (Standard-Doppelzimmer) nicht darauf hingewiesen, dass man in Nebengebäuden zum Haupthaus, die über den ganzen Ort verteilt sind, einquartiert wird. Wir haben uns daher zwei Straßen weiter (also nicht mit Blick auf die Mosel) in einem Appartement/Ferienwohnung wiedergefunden. Diese Wohnung war nicht im Jugendstil eingerichtet, sondern eher spartanisch praktisch und altmodisch. Wir waren daher sehr enttäuscht. Auf Nachfrage wäre ein Umzug ins Haupthaus nur unter Zuzahlung möglich gewesen. Es ist wirklich sehr schade, dass wenn man ein gehobenes Hotel bucht und es sich auch was kosten lässt, nur eine einfache Ferienwohnung erhält. Wenn wir das gewollt hätten, hätten wir uns das Geld sparen können.

Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und nett eingerichtet. Das Personal war sehr sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und lecker. Parken kann man so gut wie nicht direkt am Hotel, aber ein kostenloser Parkplatz ist gut 250 m entfernt.

In Zeiten von Corona in ein Hotel zu verreisen ist mit Umständen und Einschränkungen begleitet. Dies schmälert natürliche den Urlaubsgenuss. Trotz allem war es ein schöner Aufenthalt.

We zaten in een bijgebouw. De kamer was ruim en mooi,zeer aangenaam. De badkamer was perfect. We hebben wel maar 1 keer gebruik gemaakt van de wellness-accommodatie en het zwembad.Je bent immers telkens verplicht om je volledig om te kleden,daar je nog een heel stuk moet wandelen over de straat. Jammer,want je betaalt er wel voor. Het hotel is nu niet echt goedkoop. De 2e dag heb ik de auto niet kunnen parkeren aan het bijgebouw,maar op een openbare parkeerplaats aan de Moezel,100 meter verderop. Ook jammer. Maar algemeen waren we wel tevreden.

Lovely Art Deco Hotel

Really interesting Art Deco hotel in great condition. Lovely breakfast. Good bathroom and shower, comfy bed, nice and quiet. Friendly staff. Restaurant service was superb but food was a bit expensive and not to our taste - although that may be us rather than the food itself. There's a great little wine bar opposite that was wonderful for an afternoon of quaffing. I'd definitely return, given the chance.
