Felt I was ripped off when I tried to shuttle my family back to the airport and told it would be $150, instead of the $50 it took me to get there from the airport. Driver accepted $60 as that’s all the cash we had on hand. "

The resort itself is stunning — beautifully maintained gardens, gorgeous lagoon-style pools, and plenty of space so it never felt crowded even during a busy holiday weekend. The bed was super cozy and we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.Breakfast was fantastic with a huge variety of options, and the restaurants offered delicious food and great service throughout our stay. "We stayed at the Crowne Plaza in the beginning of April for 3 nights on our way back from our primary trip the New Zealand and Australia. The Hotel is very nice. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and had plenty of room. The actual beach area is ok. There could be more seating options out there. The pools are very nice, which is one of the reasons we booked here. It can be a little tricky finding a spot to lay in the shade / sun. As with most island resorts, things move a little slower than normal, but always with a smile."
