Amazing stay at Sofitel Fiji a resort and Spa! Staff greeted us all day with cheerful “Bula” and “Vinaka.” A big thank you to Chris for his hospitality and guidance on nearby attractions, and to Chefs Dutt, Kalidas, and Savitri for making vegetarian dining so easy and special. Gorgeous views, beach access, and great facilities. Loved the nightly cookies with room service. Truly a memorable experience! Highly recommended

Disappointing stay due to construction, room issues & poor service Unfortunately, our stay at Sofitel Fiji fell well short of expectations. There were significant construction works taking place directly next door, with no prior consultation, warning, or apology from the hotel. I strongly recommend requesting not to be placed near Block 1, as this is where the disruption was most severe. A previous Accor property in Australia offered perks as a compensation for the disruption. My sister and I were reunited on this trip (she’s live in UK) and had requested to be placed in rooms near each other. While her room (329) was very nice, this request was not honoured and I was placed in Room 202, directly beside the construction site. This room had a strong mouldy smell and damp flooring, which we initially thought was from cleaning. However, when we returned later that evening, moisture had spread to the furniture, bed, and even our suitcases. When I reported this, a maid came to mop the room and suggested it was due to our use of the air conditioning, despite the unit clearly displaying a fault warning and we had not been in all day. The following morning, I raised the issue again along with the construction noise and was moved only five doors down, still in Block 1 and still not near my sister. The new room (207) had its own issue: the main room lighting popped and sparked, which I reported as a potential electrical safety hazard. My sister arrived very early at 4am, yet staf

Fabulous in so many ways! The facilities were impeccable, spacious, tastefully decorated, beautiful pool area. The grounds were manicured and lush with tropical plants and flowers everywhere. The food was outstanding (yes expensive), 5 star buffet with so much variety and our meal at Solis was one of the yummiest we’ve ever eaten. The staff were everywhere doing jobs all day long, always greeting you with a friendly ‘BULA!’. Hard to fault!

Beautiful property. Room not as advertised: Room we reserved said “beachfront.” Our room faced a garden. We could neither see, nor hear ocean. We also had no obvious way to visit the adults only area which was substantially quieter. I felt this should have been noted when reserving the room.

The room was lovely, though upgraded to a waitui room without the club access so very disappointed as the room is closer to facilities that you have to pay another 400 a day to use.. also room service smashed a glass in the room and didn't clean up properly so ended up in my foot. Hotel staff didn't really care.

We have stayed in dinner around three times this is our first time at the Sofitel it is by far the best resort on the island restaurant options are great swimming pool is fantastic amazing atmosphere everywhere you walk can’t wait to go back

All excellent. Staff does need to add ice packs for severe edema incidents for guests coming off flights. (11 hr flight, both legs- extreme swelling, staff graciously and promptly made ice packs with plastic gloves. Subsided by day 2. Had a great time. TY . Store should also offer nude compression socks for these incidents...:))

Second visit here and more impressed than the first time. Great facilities; very clean and well maintained; restaurant / bars options are very good; but mostly the staff - the level of service and care is exceptional. Will certainly return for a third visit!

We stayed in the Waitui rooms. Our room had a lovely view onto the gardens and beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The minibar was re-stocked every day and it was easy to 'trade' any items at the trade shop each day. We enjoyed the drinks and canapes each day. The pool area is beautiful, we wish we could have stayed longer!

Mixed emotions. Overall our stay was good. The pool was great and the inflatables and the addition of the slides was very popular with our kids. Stand out were the many options for dining giving us plenty of variety while we were there. Housekeeping was also very thorough and everything felt very clean. Kids Club was great and the in-house spa was incredible. Most of the staff were amazing and personable however we did have some issues including with a particularly rude staff member in the cafe which soured our experience unfortunately. There was also a mix-up at one of the restaurants, forcing us to squeeze 4 people onto a table for 2. And on another day, housekeeping did not service our room until after 4:30pm. While they did take the time to listen to our complaints, management were very slow to act and didn't provide any consolation until we escalated the issue and demanded a course of action. This was our third time in Fiji but our first time at the Sofitel. Our two previous stays at the Sheraton were without any issues or complaints. The Sheraton seem to be a little more onto it and their resort is just a touch more opulent with more retail shops and facilities. Not sure if we'd stay here again. Will probably go back to the Sheraton (or try the new Sofitel that's being built next door...)
