「Though the property is older, it is well maintained and clean. The rooms are easily accessed with door codes rather than cards that are easily lost or may malfunction. The beds are clean and comfortable. The rooms are well situated with a full view of the ocean. We enjoyed our stay and will be returning soon!」

「We loved the view. Our room a/c and refrigerator worked well. The carpet needed replacement and you could not see out of one of the windows.」

「Had only 1 working elevator and it stopped working twice during our stay. The first incident, the elevator was not working for almost 12 hours. We were on the 3rd floor and my husband has hip issues. He had difficulty getting up and down the stairs. Plus, we had a non-walking child and she had to be carried up and down the stairs. Our room had several items and trash left from the people before us. The staff was friendly though.」

「It was such a pleasure meeting Bill and Veda during our stay! They were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us a delicious breakfast each morning and even packing up extra fruit for us to take to the beach, which was such a thoughtful touch. The place itself is beautiful, cozy, and made us feel right at home. For our first visit to the Outer Banks, we truly couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The breakfast was delicious and had exactly what I was looking for. My kids and I really enjoyed it. The hotel has direct access to the beach, which was very convenient. The beach was also very clean. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed our time here.」
