「Chic and trendy hotel. Very nice staff and always willing to help. Free valet parking. Area is probably a little more mixed - the hotel themselves don’t recommend walking on the street alone after dark. We just took uber point to point and we were fine. 「The property is new and modern and a lovely place to stay long or short term. It is worth noting that there is only street parking or paid undercover parking around the corner. There is construction on the building next door and if your room faces the street it can be quite noisy all hours of the night. 「Hotel reception is on the first floor of the building, which is served by a lift or you can easily walk up a flight of stairs (if you do not have heavy things to carry). First impression of Habitat is that it is modern and clean. My room was on the same floor as the reception and breakfast area. Initially thinking that it would be noisy but it wasn't. 「Conveniently located by shops and restaurants/ bars on Long Street, this hotel is clean and really nicely decorated. The breakfast was delicious, the beds super comfy, the bathrooms modern, and the rooms nice and quiet. 「location wise, It's not exactly at the waterfront area, however, it's still well connect with the most pleasant area in Cape Town. I think the complimentary shuttle boat make the difference. We had a mountain view double room, which is quite amazing. We can see the table mountain directly from our window. The parking is quite nice, however, there's an extra fee on it. The stuffs are nice, still lack of experience. In general, I'd stay here again if I had the chance to visit the city again.」
