"The room was pretty clean- crumbs and fuzz around edges of bed and sofa/ baseboard - like they had been neglected when the room was cleaned. The bathroom however was very clean. The building felt very “ dormitory “- small windows in the rooms and not great thought in spacial planning. We stayed in the king room & there’s a gaping void between the door & the bed- a sofa/ coffee table would’ve made it feel more homey…. The bed was clean and comfy. While the bar was small -(no draft beer) & had a small menu- the food was pretty decent and the bar staff were stellar. The shuttle (for whatever reason) dropped us at baggage claim- and it was not convenient for a departure.(I’d uber or take a taxi) Over all- it was a fair price for a decent place to stay- a comfy bed and food to order. "

"At first, the hotel seemed fine. Basic, but suitable for our needs. But, there were signs. The first was that a woman was demanding a refund when I was checking in. Second, the gates to the parking lot were difficult to operate and no staff were assisting the guests to operate it. The next morning I found a fingernail on the bathroom floor (not ours). Someone had spit on the floor of the elevator. The coffee in the lobby was awful. The desk clerk barely looked at me when I checked out. Apparently, I was bothering her and interrupting a conversation she was having. So, I'm afraid I can't recommend this hotel, especially sincer there are a number of other options nearby."

"During the night of my stay it was a pleasurable experience. Outside of the shower, the room, toilet & sink were cleaned and stocked with amenities if one chooses to purchase. As some of the items near the TV does cost a fee if utilized. The staff were all accommodating if any requests were made. The warm welcome chocolate chip cookie was a nice gesture. My only complaint is the floor of the shower had dirt grind stains from past guests. Reusable shower mats would have been nice. At the end of the day out of all the hotels I stayed in during the week spent in the Atlanta area the DoubleTree by Hilton Atlanta Perimeter Dunwoody was the best and I was able to get some good rest without having any issues with noise from other guests who do not value common courtesy and decency. Thank you DoubleTree by Hilton Atlanta Perimeter Dunwoody. Will revisit soon!! 😀"
