「Struggled to find reception at first but it was in the Mexican cafe next door, staff were attentive, friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. First room was lovely, clean, it is a very old quirky building which I love but some may prefer more modern. We went out for the evening and didn’t return until 1am - when we found out our TV wasn’t working properly, I contacted the number on the info and they sent someone straightaway to sort out and then changed our room - we ended up in the suite with...

「Lovely comfy bed in a big room」

「Super quiet location, rooms were beautifully done and recently refurbished. Very much liked the underfloor heating in the bathroom and super comfy bed. The communal area and restaurant were closed when we visited but there is a fab deli, 2 mins up road and linked to wider Castle Ashby estate. Overall a gem of a hotel and ideal for quiet break to relax and refresh. 」
