「0/5 – Worst stay of my life. Plummer House Newcastle was an absolute disgrace from start to finish. The room was filthy on arrival — dirty sink and work surfaces, stained floors, damaged furniture, worn cabinets, filthy fridge, marked and stained chairs, and mugs that looked like they hadn’t been properly cleaned in months. This is not “student accommodation” or “serviced living” — it’s neglect. The female manager was rude and unprofessional, even trying to make me check out 12 hours earlier...

「The check in was fast and friendly, the room is lovely, with a nice view. There was quite a lot of noise from the street below early in the morning and the church bells were regular throughout the night. The breakfast was a good amount but lukewarm spolt the vibe. The price we paid , i think was high for this standard.」

「We had a good stay, when ringing for support to find the entrance and how to enter was very supported and sent all necessary details, free parking close by and isn’t too far a drive away from everything. Very quiet no banging through the night etc. 」

「Very clean and comfy. Had everything in that we needed , plenty of kitchen utensils , cups ,plates and glasses. We had a bathroom and separate toilet. We had a great view of the bay . Spoke to Andrew the owner , very nice bloke . If we are going back to the area we would definitely stay here again . 」

「The company managing the property only seemed interested in telling us about their requirement to make an arrangement to cover breakages at the property during our stay. We could either pay an insurance fee or a deposit which would be returned minus an administration fee 14 days after we vacated the property - why 14 days? There was no clear information about this requirement until after the booking was made, by which time we could not cancel. We assumed that due to the operation of a scheme...
