We booked a reservation for a specific room. Upon arrival, staff informed us they did not have that room and would be placing us in a different room. In our opinion, a downgrade. Check in took approximately 15-20 minutes; we were not waiting in line, the more experienced staff just seemed not to care to help the newer staff. With the downgrade, hotel staff did not offer compensation despite us asking. My spouse asked for a later check out, which they extended by one hour.
The room itself was fine. No complaints. Truthfully though you could go to a comfort inn or any other hotel for a lot less headache, better customer service, and get the same room.
My husband and I don’t get an opportunity to get away alone very often. This was the first weekend we’ve taken in about two years. We just were really disappointed. We definitely would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an experience, however, if you’re looking for somewhere to lay your head down at night, this would satisfy.
