「The hotel has shuttle bus service to west Shinjuku, which is good as you can save the 13 minutes walk. There are plenty of restaurants around. If you are tired of the Japanese food, you can try the Sizzler, or Denny's with a bit of Japanese flavor with in 5 minutes walk. As for the hotel service, it doesn't have the courtesy of a Japanese hotel to welcome you upon check in. It is cold if not blunt to me. Otherwise, house keeping is great.」

「Our host Yoshi and the staff at Toe Library were incredibly welcoming, offering us tips around the neighborhood and, when we left, a bag of delicious Japanese cookies. The room itself was cozy, well-appointed, and full of personality—and we especially appreciated that because we happened to be there during a typhoon and spent a lot of time lounging there as we waited for the worst of the storm to pass. This is a completely unique stay and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo.」
