"Our host Yoshi and the staff at Toe Library were incredibly welcoming, offering us tips around the neighborhood and, when we left, a bag of delicious Japanese cookies. The room itself was cozy, well-appointed, and full of personality—and we especially appreciated that because we happened to be there during a typhoon and spent a lot of time lounging there as we waited for the worst of the storm to pass. This is a completely unique stay and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo."

"Unlike many of the Japanese hotels we stayed in, this one didn't have a bath house. Bath houses aren't a part of my home culture, so it didn't bother me at all. Not much room to hang out in the lobby, no meeting room - basically they didn't waste anything on extras I wouldn't use. They had flexible check-in, comfy beds, a nice view, a decent bathroom, good AC, free shared laundry, and a small kitchen. I loved having a kitchen - the most affordable wagyu you can eat is the kind you buy...

"We booked a room with two beds for two adults and two kids. Our stay here was fantastic! The room was a bit cramped, but we spent most of our time exploring Asakusa. It was a comfortable place to stay. I loved the view of the Skytree, Senso-ji temple, and the street food area (I don’t think that’s considered Nakamise street). The view was stunning. Room necessities like shampoo, brush, and toothbrush were all located in the main lobby, which was super convenient. We could use the self-service option instead of constantly calling the front desk. There was a water dispenser on every floor and coffee in the lobby. My feedback is around the cleaning. We asked for cleaning on day two, and it seemed like the garage was the only thing taken out. The room was full of girls, and we did our best to pick up the hair on the floor, but it really needed to be vacuumed. On day three, the room was cleaned, but we had to request it again via the TV process (which was also cool). Outside of that, there was too much furniture for a room that size. I would recommend removing the big chair and coffee table. Location 10/10 Amenities 10/10 Cleanliness 9/10 Room 8/10 Staff 10/10"
