「Upon our arrival at the hotel's front desk, we were utterly dismayed by the complete lack of a warm welcome. The room they assigned us was inconveniently located on the first floor, facing a noisy street. 「I loved the personal and friendly welcome by the owner. I also really liked the dining room and living room downstairs, and saw some other guests studying and reading in there. It gives a cozy feeling when you're coming back after dinner, and has a homey old-fashioned charm that reflects the reasons I loved Maastricht so much. 」
