Amazing location but some improvement needed

The stay was wonderful, the location is perfect to take a rest, to reconnect with nature, to experience various sports like golf, swimming and walking... The hotel is quiet and the reception desk is helpful (nous avons eu un problème de remontée d'égouts/canalisation nauséabonde dans notre chambre et la réception nous a aussitôt changé de chambre). The restaurant is pretty nice (filet mignon was wonderful) but the 5 course menu is overrated (le plat eglefin avec ses gnocchi n'avait pas d'intérêt au plan gustatif - les fromages étaient vieux) with staff not really used to serve it (oubli d'un plat dans le service, apéritif servi 2 fois, sommelier antipathique et incapable de donner des indications sur un choix entre 2 vins pour accompagner le menu). We spent a nice week end there even if there is space for improvement on specific points (il y a des peloches de cheveux dans la piscine ...). many thanks !

Lovely hotel but expensive breakfast

Lovely hotel. But it is in a quite isolated area. Breakfast is 30 euros extra - which I thought was a bit expensive

the service and atmosphere did not meet expectatio

The receptionist was extremely unpolite and rude from the very beginning. She asked for my name three times, even though I had already repeated it clearly, and then insisted several times on how exactly the reservation was made, in a very unpleasant manner. Instead of being welcoming, her attitude felt dismissive and unprofessional. On top of this, the server in the restaurant refused to speak English, making the situation even more uncomfortable. To make matters worse, there was also a strange smell in the corridor, which added to the overall negative impression.

Ontbijt kost 25 euro. Daar kan ik niet tegenop eten, in de vroege ochtend. Dus maar overgeslagen. Kamer heeft maar één raam. Badkamer is heel erg klein. Hotel heeft weinig sfeer. Wel een bar, restaurant en buiten nog een 1* restaurant. Eten is niet goedkoop en blonk niet uit in kwaliteit.

Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen, Minuspunkt. Wir hatten extra ohne Frühstück gebucht, bei Ankunft meinte der Herr dann Frühstück ist gratis, also am 1. Tag genutzt, und natürlich berechnet bekommen. Haben es dann für die anderen Tage storniert, da wir es einfach nicht brauchen, wäre kein Beinbruch, aber wir hatten extra noch darau hingewiesen dass wir ohne frühstück gebucht hätten, und er mehrfach meinte, nach seinen Unterlagen wäre es dabei. Ansonsten rundum ein schönes Hotel, ein schöner Aufenthalt

Fijn hotel in groene omgeving met heerlijk bed

Mooi hotel op een groene plek (wel in de buurt van een doorgaande weg maar daar heb je geen last van. Heerlijk bed. Beetje vreemd dat er in de badkamer een raam zit naar de slaapkamer waardoor je vanuit je bed je reisgenoot ziet douchen. (Raam wel beetje geribbeld, maar je ziet toch alles). Ontbijt 28 euro. Aan de dure kant. Je kunt wel lekker buiten zitten met uitzocht op de golfbaan, maar eten geen 28 euro waard. Service in hotel is prima.

In het algemeen heel goed, en heel goede restaurants. Minpuntje was dat de douchegel leeg was, en na 2 keer gemeld te hebben (1 keer bij aankomst en 1 keer als we gingen dineren), nog steeds niet was bijgevuld. Spijtig als 1 nacht verblijft en dan 's morgens nog steeds geen douchegel hebt. Zou voor zo'n zaak toch niet mogen.
