"We stayed in February 2026 and it snowed everyday. Just Beautiful. I would compare this to a Best Western Plus. Great location, clean area, clean room, cinder-block walls, nice TV, you can hear your neighbors when they are a little to loud, one of the most comfortable king size beds I have ever had in a hotel, nice heater, clean bathrooms, great parking with extra wide spots to avoid door dings, a wonderful staff, food is ok but pricey. Also love staying in the grand canyon camp grounds, but the yavapai lodge is truly a joy and well worth it. This was a great choice on this visit. You can also choose to have daily room service or keep your privacy and just ask for more towells, coffee, cups, etc. when you need them, or get them at the checkin desk. They are very accompadating. The only 1 negative is having to use an 3rd party online service to book the reservation. Final comments to all of the staff at the Grand Canyon South Rim Yavapai Lodge, is thank you for a wonderful stay... Barry from socal."

"Nice, spacious clean room. Onsite restaurant for dinner was just ok, breakfast restaurant was good. There's a shuttle to the airport that runs every half hour, so very convenient for flying out of Phoenix airport. Onsite fitness center and pool were nice amenities."

"The room was spotless with plenty of amenities. We loved the suite we had. It was very comfortable and roomy. We plan on staying here again. The only drawback was the lack of parking. I am handicapped and often the handicapped stalls were taken by cars with no handicap hang tag or license plate. When we told the front desk, they said they would inform their manager, otherwise there was nothing they could do. That was disappointing. "
