「We had a wonderful stay at El Balcón del Sol. The 3-bedroom apartment was clean and much more spacious than we expected. Having a full kitchen and a large living room equipped with everything we needed made it feel like home. The host was very accommodating, checking in to ensure we had everything we needed, and the WiFi was very reliable. After long days of trekking, being able to cook a meal and relax in the hot tub was the ultimate luxury. It was the perfect place to recharge.」

「Great hospitality」

「The hotel is in the historic centre of Cusco, not far from the main attractions in the old town. The room is cosy and comfortable. However, there is some problem with the hot water supply as it goes out very fast.」

「Good clean safe secure hotel, good beds, safe, staff, breakfast, restaurant, nice wifi, convenient location. The portable room heaters are not effective and challenging to get hot water for bath before 6 am (heaters freeze overnight).」

「Not sure why it isn't advertised more widely, but the hotel actually is part of a non-profit that supports underprivileged children of Cusco, and helps them with basic needs and education. Besides this super clean hacienda style hotel. Lovely staff. The restaurant has great breakfast. 」
