Annapolis is a city seemingly frozen in time and that's what makes it so charming. However, for a hotel like a Westin, that's not a compliment. They wouldn't give me the reservation number to add my stay to my Marriott app saying I booked through a third party (Expedia). Also, because I didn't book directly they didn't give free WiFi despite me being a Platinum Bonvoy member. Also valet parking was $34 a night and very aggressive when I would drop my mom off at the door to go find free parking. There are some spots on the street in the same development as the hotel as in the rich neighborhood just on the other side of the cemetery. Your rental car will be the junkiest car along side BMWs/Mercedes so save your money, walk 6 minutes and don't give an extra dollars to Westin.
Also, the room cleaning had to be request and was probably the laziest room cleaning I've ever experienced. The bed was only half made and my mom's door was not fully closed when the cleaner left. Thankfully nothing was stolen.
