"This hotel is rich in history and you can see it really was a gem in it’s day however we found the staff to be a little on the rude/brisk side of things and not super helpful. the hotel unfortunately needs some repairs that have been neglected like one elevator broke and never was repaired in the five nights we stayed there. There are broken light fixtures in the main lobby, which is a shame because this property deserves better. Front entry doors were also staggered open so it was difficult during busy times to get in and out of the hotel. The lake view room was pretty great view but again in kinda rough shape. The internet is a joke and apparently you can cast to the TV but we could not get it to work with either laptop or our phones. Someone needs to take better care of this Gem. Great location walkable to many activities such as navy pier, Chicago River, south loop and much more"

"Good, central location. Front desk and valet were very accommodating. "

"Hotel was clean, up to date, afforable when compared to other hotels in the area and conveniently located. These are the best parts of this Hilton nother else really sticks out about it. There is a bar and restaurant attached to the hotel and a bakery at the corner of the same block if youre in town for a quick visit or business I would recommend it, if you plan id for leisure then go with the other Hilton."

"When I first got to the hotel to see if there was an early check in had to wait 15 mins at the front desk for someone to help. My room did not get cleaned and nothing got restocked I stayed there for 2 nights. There was a chair in the room that had a broken leg which was concerning. "

"This was such a beautiful hotel! We loved the options in the lobby for food- including gluten free options! The hotel was clean and easy to navigate. I wish they would have had parking options!"
