Room had a distinct odor that smelled like a home perm solution. Other than that it was a decent place to stay.

Wingate by Wyndham Anchorage Downtown/Ship Creek
The room was fine. Beds were comfy. Pool was filthy. I could see an actual layer of film and dirt and hair floating on it. The parking lot was also littered with trash. We saw a crack pipe in the parking lot. Lots of homeless people hanging out in back lot

Wyndham Garden Anchorage Airport
I rarely post a poor review but this hotel had no heat, and the neighborhood is famously bad with lots of homelessness and theft. Many many hotels exist in Anchorage, at all price points. This one needs some attention.

The Lakefront Anchorage
Room was clean and tidy. The HVAC worked well to get a good temperature in the room. Staff was friendly and helpful. Airport shuttle was punctual. Good overall experience.
