「This wonderful pub is a gem. We stayed for two nights and found the staff, especially Daniel, to be friendly and efficient. Our rooms were very comfortable and nicely fitted out. The meals are fantastic! Their chef is very talented and serves food that would not be out of place in any high end restaurant. On Friday night we loved the gathering of musicians who played together and added a lovely atmosphere to the (full) restaurant. Parking was conveniently at the front door. We thoroughly enjoyed...

「The hotel doesn’t have an elevator. I stayed on the first floor. Actually, there is a corridor between the first floor and the carpark with a few steps only. However, the receptionist didn’t told me about that. She simply told me to carry the luggages through the normal entrance and go up one floor “ONLY” . No help had been offered and she clearly knew I got a car. Nowadays, it is not usual asking the lady customers to carry the luggages going upstairs 」

「Lovely hotel with great facilities, excellent breakfast and good location. Significant downside was the lack of cool air conditioning. The ventilation system could heat but not cool. It was not possible to get the room temperature below 24 degrees C which made for uncomfortable sleeping - even when the outside temperature in Dundee was no more than 15 degrees C.」

「Amazing hotel. This is my 5th stay here. Only 2 gripes were the lift not working and we wer ein the 3rd floor and it was roasting even though we had the radiators off! Will definitely be back again though. 」
