I even asked the front desk if it was mandatory and she said no. They literally kept me from taking my bags and I didn’t like the pressure from them. "

"We had an absolutely lovely stay at the Electra Palace in Athens. The hotel is conveniently located in the centre of the Plaka neighborhood, close to many shops and restaurants. The acropolis is an easy 15 minute walk. We had both breakfast and dinner at the 8th floor restaurant which has a beautiful view of the acropolis and city of Athens. The food was incredible. The room was well kept and comfortable. The staff were very helpful making recommendations and booking our taxi. An amazing stay!"
