The location was great. Quick walk to Jetty Road and the beach. The room was clean although could have done with some maintenance. Bathroom ceiling had paint peeling and some parts of wall had plaster missing. The first room we had, there were issues with the blind not working. After some back and forth with the representative on the phone, we were given another room.

Can’t pay with cash, 8% extra in charges.

Although hotels.com quoted a fixed price that could be paid at the property, the property was not staffed, and payment could only be made by a link in an email, which I consider unsafe, and there was a surprise 4% card charge and another 4% service charge on top, despite there being no staff there. Payment in cash was not possible. The next door air conditioner was ridiculously loud, no sheets for the second bed, a dirty pillow in the cupboard and the bathroom window didn’t function and its fly screen was ill fitting. Great location, and the refurbished lounge and kitchen was fine, but I wouldn’t choose to use an unstaffed property.

We liked the room…. But was VERY disappointed because as advertised when we booked there was a pool, we were not allowed to use it… False advertising!!! One of the main reason we booked this accommodation was because of the pool. We had a very upset boy those couple of days, as pool is privately owned!!!!

Didn’t receive an email re check in details prior to checking in, however, contacted property re same & was immediately sent mail details of check in.
