The staff were great and the room very clean. There was no in house dining, the car park didn’t feel safe and there was homeless people picking up used cigarette butts on the premises.
We were after somewhere close to the QEH at a reasonable price.
The room was clean and tidy with a breakfast pack each (free).
Discount vouchers were another bonus we didn't expect.
Went to get a cappachino using our vouchers to find out they were free as we were using the pokie room.
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Will definitely be returning.
Great value for money.
We stayed in the family room at Finsbury for 1 night. received 2 drinks vouchers and complimentary bottled water in the room. Rooms are accessed through a separate door to the pub. The pub was quiet the night we stayed so we had a nice quiet night. Room was spacious and clean and staff were friendly and we had several nice conversations with the staff. Would stay again if we are back in that area in Adelaide. There is also security outside the pub after 9pm and we returned at night and it was perfectly safe to enter through the side door.
Friendly staff, room was very clean, easy in-out access, bed super comfy! Convenient location close to a shopping center with a cinema
I stayed during the week so it wasn't noisy downstairs from the bar/pokies, only a bit noisy in the mornings with other guests coming and going as well as cleaning. The room was really hot when I arrived but that was easily fixed with A/C. I also would like to suggest possibly adding in some sort of roller-blind curtains behind the fabric ones as a lot of light still comes through
I didn't get a chance to try the dining at the hotel but other than those very small things, I had a pleasant stay and would definitely stay here again!
Not one of the safest areas of Adelaide. Advised to park car near outside Security and not the unmanned car park.
Nightcap website shows hot food/menu but Finsbury has not had food since 2020. Not a great selection in the area, so you need to have a car.
Bed was soft and comfortable and clean. But rooms are noisy from adjoining room but little pub noise.
Stayed for 5 nights and never saw more than 8 people drinking or playing pokies.

not good
well check in was ok.
the staff were good
the rooms bathroom wasn't great. wash basin tape wasn't secured to the sink so tap just flops around and the hand towel had something on it that resembled human man batter, this was absolutely gross.
big sign outside on wall saying bistro but they dont serve meals.
then outside you have some criminal elements, people loitering around, not a safe feeling for your family. had a bloke come up to me and ask if I can sell him drugs. I will not stay here again or recommend this hotel to any family stay.
The room was comfortable but the walls are very thin. I was in room 4 and the couple in room 5 were fighting until 3am. Even with earplugs unfortunately I felt like I was in the room with them

Nice 'pun' style accommodation, close to the CBD & Adelaide oval. The only downside was the thinness of walls between the rooms & could clearly hear the next rooms conversations.
Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room. Would be better if the Bistro were up and running, but enjoyed the Vietnamese restaurant just down the street.
Great check in service, given a voucher for a free drink at the bar. Free parking on site. Quiet from bay downstairs but some road noise. Vietnamese restaurant across road very handy

Room had been used by smoker
Shame that room 2 smelt of cigarettes after a previous smoked in bed and in the bathroom - damaging the sink and floor. Will request a different room next time.
