Lovely gem that is centrally
This hostel was centrally located with a helpful and friendly staff. Room was very comfortable. Nice gem. Tours took off from hostel which wss great. Very clean and well stocked kitchen. Lots of room to hang out.

Of course breakfast is a plus (some French toasts with butter, peanut butter, Vegemite and apricot jam). On the other hand, I missed some selves next to the sinks to place the toiletries.

Friendly atmosphere in everything the place the staffs the guest everyone the utility’s it’s easy and simple people from every corner of the world come together in harmony and respects even the location very close to the city. Cheap, basic accommodation
Generally pretty good. Hostel accommodation was basic but certainly good enough for the price. I stayed in a private room and it was fairly quiet. Never had to wait to use the bathroom. They provided free food on Monday evening (rice and chilli con carne) and Wednesday evening (Dominos pizza). Free breakfast was available everyday but it is extremely basic (sliced white bread with a choice of jam, honey and peanut butter, or weetbix). Bar at the hostel is limited and only serves bottled beer. Linen is included (pillow case, bottom sheet, flat sheet). There are also duvets on the bed, but these are not washed between guests. Good location, easy to walk to the centre (about 15 mins).

Good location but thats it, I was late for the check-in but I have contacted for that and the staff forgot to send me the access code to open the door that was closed when I'm arrived. Also the 13 shared guestrooms is not very confortable and to tiny, no place for the stuffs. Even if my stuffs was on my bed, the staff has change the sheets and all my stuffs from the bed when I was outside.

Conveniently located quality hostel accommodation
Staff were friendly and helpful, quality and comfort of accommodation was great. Only downer was when one of the toilets wasn't flushing properly, management did not put out a sign out of order nor fix it overnight. Would have been helpful to have bins available for rubbish in room. Street noise can be a bit noisy in evenings when window kept open all night.

Cheap rates--helpful staff--it's a hostel
Stayed here while looking for an apartment. Good overall experience. Couldn't expect luxurious Marriot-like conditions considering I booked 7 nights for a total of $99 USD. bed sheets are cleaned, access to a furnished kitchen with the singular policy that you clean whatever you use when you're done, toast or cereal provided for breakfast, wifi, common lounge area. I Never competed with bathrooms. I stayed during the latter end of Australia winter.

friendly staff and super clean hostel
when i arrived i was greeted by staff super nice and polite stayed in backpack oz for a weekend i stayed in the cave room eds where comfy showers were actually decent and warm staff cleaned the room everyday. ive stayed in alot of hostels and this is the first one thats actually been spotless. the staff gave great advice on where to go and what to do. i would highly recommend anyone to stay in this hostel

Twelve Man Cave
The Hostel was good. I stayed in a room called Cave. It was a 12 person room. I stayed short term. If you plan to stay longer, I recommend a smaller room. The larger room itself was good. Warm but a little messy due to other guests. The location is great and they have free bikes up for grabs (daily). Wifi could have been better.

Hostel located in the city.
Check in was simple, with friendly and helpful staff. It's an old building with no lift. Bring a padlock for the lockers in the room.

Very pleased :)
I stayed for a week and I had a great time. Although the shower facility at the second floor was a little upsetting (one with the bath tub was really cold when windy outside), this hostel gave me opportunity to make friends! (BBQ party was great :D) I was also pleased with the reccomendation on the white board everyday on where to visit as well.

Location was good, close to city centre. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hostel needs renovation as it looks pretty old and dirty, which made me reluctant to sleep without a coat.

It was great, loved the atmosphere, the things to do and the people to meet including the staff. The staff were very helpful even helping me out with directions when outside the hostel and letting me access laundry post cut-off time when I had to leave early the next morning.

Good staff, professional hostel, great Tuesday free BBQ. Quiet in guesthouse if that's what you want, including longer for breakfast, and if you want you can still use the main hostel. The guesthouse unfortunately has no WiFi, but the main hostel does (although it is not the best).

A well-run hostel with friendly staff. Great free BBQ every Tuesday, basic but ok free breakfast. Stayed in the Guesthouse across street from main hostel, meant breakfast available to 1030, TV in room, quiet. Bed could have been Cormier. Also no WiFi in guesthouse, and not that strong in main hostel. Good place to spend a short time, though.
