"Absolutely awful experience. The property was falsely advertised as having a gym and spa on site – neither of which exist. To make matters worse, the CO2 alarms went off at around 5:30am, which was extremely alarming. When we contacted maintenance, they “fixed” the issue by breaking the alarms just to silence them. Unbelievably, the host then attempted to charge us £99.99 to repair the very alarms their own maintenance team damaged. Completely unacceptable behaviour and very poor management. I...

"We stayed here for 3 nights and walked in and out of Ambleside which was about 2.5km each way. There were running/walking trails straight out of the property. The house that the B & B is in is spectacular. The morning breakfast that is provided is far and away the best included breakfast we have ever had anywhere."
