This hotel is very expensive by anyones standards. It is some, but not an impossible distance from other towms. That being said, it is located with a view of the most beautiful scenery along California`s coast. Each room is well designed and the refrigerator is stocked with wine, cheese, crackers, cookies, etc. Great for a picnic. The restaurant is beautifully done and the food is fancy and well done. Everything about the hotel was awesome. From the time we arrived and got greeted, to entering our room and using the amazing facilities. This hotel is truly a hidden gem in Palo Alto. The staff were great and service was top notch. Thanks for making our stay memorable!

Great experience! All staff was friendly, ready to help. We are at Il Vigneto and had a wondeful dinner. Nothing to complain about at all. Great 'Staycation' for a local, or week away for those coming form out of town.

What a great location! Rooms are exquisite and very quiet for being located near the freeway. Very secluded and quiet setting. It's a favorite weekend getaway for my wife and I!

So far the best 5-star hotel I've stayed at. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the valet, and bags were taken in by the staff. Complimentary champagne and wine during check-in. I was also given a short tour of the resort and everything you can do. The room was very clean and had plenty of amenities. The rooms were adjoined to others but this was not an issue. The Edgewood restaurant had an amazing view of the sunset, the food is overrated tbh (except the soufflé). Bistro was more convenient and had...

I've stayed at Joie de Vivre hotels before with good results but this one is a step above any I've experienced. I haven't checked on when this gem was built but it is exceptionally clean. The grout in the shower looks like it's never seen soap before. It's located in the best possible spot in Palo Alto for walkable shops and restaurants, the staff is courteous and professional, the rooms are good sized and stylish... There isn't a bad thing I can say about this spot. We didn't get a chance to...
