「Booked this stay as a day-trip for our 5 year anniversary. Check-in staff surprised us with a free room upgrade and two free drinks at one of the bars. The Jr. Suite was very spacious and clean. Enjoyed the rustic-modern look that complimented the brick architecture. Pillows were not as comfortable as the ones from home and the air conditioning unit was rather noisy, we were warned about that before accepting the room upgrade however. 「Staff was professional and helpful; room was clean and comfortable. Convenient location adjacent to a corporate office park, the interstate, and near a paved city trail if you need a walk or run. It is a traditional hotel in that our room didn't have a refrigerator or microwave. There's a Starbucks and a restaurant/bar on site, and plenty of other food options within a couple of miles. We'd stay again. 」

「This was a great hotel to stay in Kansas City. The room was very clean and spacious and provided for a very relaxing stay. I ate at the onsite restaurant and although I was the only one in the restaurant, the food was still pretty good. Good location with many things nearby and coffee shops. Only downside was that the AC panel in my room fell off and left a big open hole on one of the walls in my room, which wasn’t necessarily an issue, but definitely have never had that happen in a hotel room...
