「This is a very old hotel with all the scents and quirks of an old hotel. However, it is beautifully maintained and we found the room very clean and the overall property very fun to explore and experience. The parking was easy to get to and from and seemed safe. We encountered no problems. We enjoyed sitting out on the common balcony and watching the evening of the downtown come to life. The shopping up and down the street the next day was lovely. Many shops are closed on Sunday, fyi. ...

「When we go to Sutter Creek we usually stay at the hotel Sutter and have enjoyed it. This trip however did't go near as well. Check in was fine, but the girl was a bit confused on some items, such as, that in the morning there would be muffins and things and coffee starting at 6am - didn't happen. As we were settling into our room a cockroach ran across the carpet (I did tell front desk). Wasn't clear where the ice machine was, but eventually found it. We didn't realize we were put in the room...

「The Rest Hotel in downtown Plymouth is a gem of a find! Quaint, cute, perfect location, perfect amenities, and the rooms were much better than "normal" hotels. However, the best part of our visit was the staff. They are caring, responsive, polite, and fun! My wife will only stay at the Rest Hotel when we return to Amador County Wine Country!」
