Østmarka Wilderness Area 3 Stars Hotels

Excellent alternative to downtown Oslo right on the train from the airport. Nice bar, indoor spaces, supermarket, bakery and cafes within steps.

Excellent location, friendly staff, classy place.

Scandic Byporten was clean, secure, and friendly. Had great access to the central train station.

Great location, very clean, and a comfortable bed. The breakfast was excellent too!

Spacious room and the bed was so comfortable! We were in a very hot room but the staff was able to provide us with a fan, which helped somewhat. My only complaint about this place is that they have a pretty severe fly problem. There were flies everywhere! They offered to spray our room, but the thought of insecticide nixed that idea. Instead, we bought a newspaper and swatted them. We killed 18 flies in our room and there were still at least 10 in there that we counted when we left. There...

Everything was great during my stay but 2 things that exceeded my expectations were the breakfast and the gym facility. The breakfast was one of the best ive ever had in a hotel and the gym had every equipment you can think of. Only thing that i would like to see next time is a SMILE on the receptionists face.

Excellent location near train station. Excellent breakfast buffet. If driving call ahead regarding parking situation/options.

Lovely property with lots of surrounding shops and restaurants. Room was spotless clean with all basic amenities for a comfortable stay. Breakfast is the typical outstanding Norwegian buffet and a good value (I'll gladly visit the country again just for the breakfasts!) Hotel staff were friendly and attentive. All in all, a recommended property if you're staying in Oslo.

The hotel was well situated to the train station, public transportation hubs, and to shopping. The only issue we had was there are multiple Comfort Hotels in the area and the address Hotels.com gave us for Xpress was to a different Comfort Hotel, luckily within walking distance. The check-in agent at the incorrect hotel had apparently dealt with this mistake a number of times and quickly directed us up the street to the correct property.

We were in town for a wedding and stayed here with the rest of the wedding party. The rooms are very spacious and quite nice with a balcony and 2nd bedroom. The bed was very comfortable and it was quiet enough at night to have the balcony door open if we wanted. The breakfast buffet is substantial and that was a highlight. We also appreciated always having coffee and tea available in the lobby. The location is quite convenient to several trolly and bus lines and very walkable to all parts of the...

The location of this hotel is AWESOME!! You can walk to so much!! And the Oslo Pass (museum fees and pubic transportation are covered) is the way to go for getting everywhere else and there is a stop a short 2 blocks away. The staff is so helpful and friendly. The breakfast is lovely! All organic and beautifully displayed in a very nice room. Our room was large and we had a King bed, which is important to us as older, larger people. The bed was very comfortable, too. It is very close to...

Good location. Excellent breakfast options.

Nice breakfast included. Room was very clean. Great location.
